DR. BRADLEY THOMAS BOIVIN, 47, of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully at home on August 2nd, 2022. He was born on October 1, 1974 in Ft. Knox, KY. Brad grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from Edgerton High School in June 1992. He attended Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul MN after high school. He worked in mental health since 1994 and his love for this field resulted in obtaining his doctorate in psychology in 2013. Dr. Boivin went on to work as a successful psychologist in the prison system and in private practice in both Wisconsin and Arizona. He is survived by his mother Laurie (Ronald) Engquist of Waukesha, WI, his father David (Bev) Boivin of Anderson Indiana, a brother Joseph Boivin of Waukesha, WI, an uncle Tom (Jenny) Casper of Dousman, WI, an aunt, Colleen Casper of Waukesha, WI, his precious Grandma, Arleen Casper and his nieces Tamarah and Sophie and nephew Justin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Boivin. Brad was known for his kindness and compassion to all. He had a heart for those less fortunate and made it his mission for several years to be their voice. He advocated for change at the highest state level and was able to witness the implementation of reform. Brad was an old soul who loved the nostalgic moments of life. He was a collector of pictures, music, and memories from his early childhood throughout the various stages of life. If near a piano, he would often sit and begin to play and sing a song from years gone by. Brad had a strong bond with his family and would take spur of the moment trips just to spend a bit of time with them. His smile was infectious and his humor and laughter ever present to bond him with those he loved. One of Brad’s more recent passions was hiking and kayaking amongst the beautiful Arizona landscape. He loved finding new lakes and trails and a coffee shop or cafe on his weekend adventures. While we do not understand the early setting of his life’s sun, we know of One who does. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34:18 NLT The funeral will be at 3pm Saturday, August 20th at Genesee Apostolic Tabernacle located at 313 WI-83, Genesee Depot, WI. Visitation will be prior to the service from Noon to 3pm. Cremation Society of Kettle Moraine is serving the family. If desired cards or memorials to the family may be sent to the Funeral Service at 226 South Main St. , Hartford, WI 53027. I'm so very sorry to learn of Brad's passing. I only met him once a few years back at my Aunt Bev and Uncle David's house and there is one thing I will never forget... that smile. That smile could have lit up the night sky. Please know my thoughts and prayers are going out to all who are grieving his loss. I share one of my favorite passages in a song by Ed Sheeran....."And I hope that I see the world as you did, 'cause I know a life that's loved is a life that's been lived." Rest on high, Bradley.

My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Brad. While I only had the privilege of knowing Brad for a brief period of time, he had a very significant impact on me and I know that he was loved and respected by anyone with whom he crossed paths. His kindness and infectious, most genuine smile will live on forever.

I'm free., Don't grieve for me,now I am free.I'm following the path God laid for me.I took his hand when I heard him call I turned my back & left it all.I could not stay another day to laugh,to love,to work or play.Tasks left undone must stay that way.I found that peace @ close of day.If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.A friendship shared,a laugh,a kiss ah yes these things I too will miss.Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full,I've savored.Good friends, good times,a loved ones touch.Perhaps my time seemed all to brief Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.LIFT UP YOUR HEARTS &SHARE WITH ME I'M WITH GOD NOW,I'VE BEEN SET FREE.
